    We are looking for a hands-on, engineering project manager who enjoys working in a demanding, fast-paced environment as part of a tight-knit engineering team. You want to work on cool technologies and thrive on interdisciplinary projects that require you to constantly collaborate with various departments. You are familiar with the project management process from start to finish, from scope definition to post-mortem. You have familiarity with a variety of engineering disciplines and their respective development processes. You are an expert in maintaining schedules, tracking budgets, and identifying risks. You have a broad knowledge base covering many different engineering and technology disciplines, thrive in an always-changing fast iteration environment and are ready to do “whatever it takes” to get the project across the finish line.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Continuously analyze the project schedule and budget. Generate status reports for project stakeholders 
    • Be proactive in handling risks, address issues early in the process
    • Be a technical liaison for cross-department efforts
    • Define scope and alternatives for capital projects and provide engineering support from feasibility, front end engineering, construction, and project start-up
    • Track changes to the scope and writes change-orders
    • Manage project requirements and expectations. You are responsible for project delivery, quality, and timeliness
    • Communicate and manage the geographically disparate engineering team 
    • Be the point person for up-to-date project information and general support to assure job execution
    • Oversee production of technical documentation of project deliverables
    • Facilitate post-mortem meetings

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 10+ years of experience in a technical project management role
    • Demonstrated ability of Kanban, Agile, and other PM methodologies
    • Experience with various manufacturing techniques and a “Design for Manufacturing” methodology 
    • General familiarity of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts
    • Experience creating and maintaining Gantt charts
    • Ability to review and comment on 3D CAD mode s  using SolidWorks or Fusion360
    • Experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and manufacturing processes
    • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of VR and location-based entertainment (Preferred)
    • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
    • A collaborative approach with varying titles and departments, managing personality types
    • Organizational, planning, and time management skills
    • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution (Preferred)
