    Dreamscape is looking for a Social Media Contractor that can lead to a permanent role to help drive strategic social media efforts. With dual reporting to the Content Marketing Director and Brand Marketing Director, key stakeholders for the marketing team, this individual will drive and execute a multi-platform social media strategy for Dreamscape as the brand continues to scale globally.

    This candidate should be a CREATIVE, spunky, witty team player with a passion for all things social media. They should be up-to-date on popular platforms and have experience with current features and content types. A strong background in copywriting and idea generation is a must.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    CHANNEL MANAGEMENT:

    •    Execute global social strategy (developed by brand & content marketing)
    •    Program, post, & document content via the calendar
    •    Supply copy and hashtag recommendations for all posts
    •        Engage with all comments and DMs (within 24 hours)
    •        Project manage & flag creative for review
    •        Repost & share UGC 
    •        Follow trends + Zeitgeist-related content ideas
    •        Liaise with Concierge team (fulfilling ticket requests, maintaining consistent response messaging, etc.)
    •        Extend social presence beyond the platform for newsletters, in-store signage, etc.
    •        Manage social programs (staff contest, partnerships, etc.)
    •       Lead customer service efforts and response matrix for internal and external partners
    •        Partner with Dreamscape's Paid Media team to provide recommended organic content for paid amplification
    •        Manage the multi-location Social Ambassador Program
    •        Maintain asset repository (dropbox)
    •        Help facilitate monthly creative/calendar brainstorm led by Content Marketing Director
    •        Maintain accounts, profiles & links 
    •        Maintain social specs doc & communicate to the creative team 
    •        Explore, test, and identify new platform/content opportunities (ex. Tik Tok, Pinterest, etc.)
    •        Lead platform feature initiatives (ex. live streaming, GIFY, IGS)
    •        Attend & cover events (travel may be required)
    •        Own social operations pipeline (evolving documentation, tools, and processes)
    •        Maintain a regular social presence at the flagship Dreamscape Century City location to capture fresh content (i.e. fan content, in-person giveaways, etc.)

     

    SOCIAL ANALYTICS

    •        Help define platform growth goals suited to our brand (i.e. follower growth)
    •        Share insights and best practices
    •        Deliver Monthly Social Analytics Report
    •        Deliver Timely Event Recaps & Postmortem Notes
    •        Research and/or Manage Social Listening Tool(s)
    •        Monitor likes, followers and general performance stats via Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reports

    INFLUENCER STRATEGY:

    •        Identify and leverage digital influencers to help amplify messaging and build awareness
    •        Conduct outreach to digital influencers around market launches and advance experience opportunities at Dreamscape.
    •        Foster ongoing relationships brand ambassadors and advocated
    •        Document all communication with Key Talent/Brands/Influencers

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:      

    •      Bachelor's Degree required    
    •      Minimum 6 years social media marketing experience with significant exposure to and/or responsibility for brand marketing and direct-to-consumer, performance marketing 
    •      Prior entertainment industry preferred
    •      Experience working in digital marketing with studio partners and/or entertainment clients preferred
    •      Deep understanding of all major platforms; including posting best practices, demographics, SEO/SEM principles, and analytics tools
    •      Basic photo and video editing skills with a strong visual eye with regard to the creation and curation of graphics, photography, and video for  social
    •      Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
    •      Able to gather objectives/KPIs and effectively build and deliver effective marketing programs 
    •      Past experience interacting and strategizing with executive-level teams
    •      Proven ability to take ownership of projects and lead initiatives with high attention to detail
    •      Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality
    •      Must be available and willing to travel on occasion (including international) and work extended hours as needed (especially during crunch times!), including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
