    Our Product Development team is responsible for collaborating with several other departments to turn a design into a finished product. The PD Assistant contributes to the development and production process by assisting in the placement, execution, and follow-up of manufacturing orders and by ensuring the timely delivery of such goods.

    We are seeking to bring on three new Product Development Assistants, across multiple categories. We will consider a recent or upcoming graduate, or someone who has 1-2 years' FT experience. The ideal candidate will be a detailed oriented individual with excellent communication and project coordination skills.     Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Daily communication with overseas manufacturers and production offices.
    • Prepare purchase orders for overseas factories, track production, and monitor delivery status to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Monitor all time-and-action calendars and production charts.
    • Initiate and track samples, material requests, and approvals.
    • Responsible for follow-up on all product specifications, quality standards, lab dips, testing, sample deadlines, and deliveries.
    • Process all data entry into our production management system, including style set-up, and creating and maintaining purchase orders to the factory.
    • Follow up with factories for all pre-production, photo samples, customer samples, and TOP samples.
    • Responsible for opening and distributing daily incoming packages from overseas vendors.
    • Organize and maintain product development related samples throughout the office.
    • Assist PD managers on projects as needed.

    Job Requirements & Qualifications:

    • 0-2 years relevant experience.
    • Self-starter with ability to function independently as well as in a team-based environment.
    • Excellent written & communication skills and necessary follow through.
    • Great attention to details and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills.
    • Ability to think creatively with a proven ability in problem solving.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Seeking a person with the desire to learn and grow with the company.
