Responsibilities: Work in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations when dealing with escrow transactions and escrow accounts Adhere to all terms and conditions of the purchase agreement and monitor progress Conduct professional interaction and coordinate with industry contacts such as loan officers, underwriters, realtors, brokers, buyers, and sellers Disburse escrow funds accurately and complete administrative tasks such as reporting Create and deliver closing settlement packages to agents, buyers, sellers, brokers, and lenders Qualifications: Experienced with software using escrow / title functions College degree or equivalent work experience preferred — high school diploma required Firm understanding of real estate law, title and insurance, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines Minimum 3+ years of experience working with real estate closing: residential sales, refinance, commercial sales, REO and short sale escrow Possess a strong understanding of title commitments, mortgage loans, title insurance, and real estate contracts Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
