Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Yoga Instructor to join our team. As a Yoga Instructor, you will plan and lead classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to safely participate. Your goal is to help clients reach their health and wellness objectives and have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for yoga and an aptitude for introducing fun and innovative concepts to our yoga schedule.

Responsibilities

Lead a wide variety of classes to yoga studio members and guests

Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe

Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of yoga and help them make good health decisions

Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking

Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Current yoga instructor certification

Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is a must

First aid and CPR-certified

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Massage Therapy licensing a plus
