    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy in order to increase Driveline's online brand presence, engage and attract current and future employees, and enhance marketing efforts. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's social media properties, as well as monitoring all user activity with the brand. Additionally, the Social Media Specialist will work closely with multiple departments and oversee the Social Media Coordinator.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Develop and execute a multi-channel social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking, and messaging that drives awareness of Driveline, engages with current employees, and attracts talent
    • Create and implement content calendars through review, strategic guidance, and copywriting to facilitate engagement with online audiences
    • Research, follow, and share industry trends and leaders to promote Driveline as a thought leader in the space
    • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then act on such information
    • Determine, track, and report the most important social media KPIs monthly
    • Build meaningful connections and encourage community members to take action through thoughtful and engaging social media posts
    • Monitor and engage with all user-generated content to ensure posts and inquiries are answered in a timely manner and all correspondence is in line with the moderation policy
    • Collaborate with and provide feedback to the Social Media Coordinator to manage reputation, identify key opportunities, and coordinate actions
    • Follow and evaluate social media trends, tools, technologies, and behaviors that affect and present an opportunity
    • Interact with employees and customer contacts on active job sites to photo-document Driveline projects and employees to assist in creating genuine and current content
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms and best practices
    • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Associates Degree and/or relevant experience
    • Two to three years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting
