    Annual Salary Range : $25 to $35 per hour

    INTECON, LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Driver Courier to support secure and time-sensitive transportation of classified and unclassified technical documentation in support of U.S. Navy Submarine Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) programs. This position provides direct support to NSWCPD Code 24 and plays a critical role in ensuring timely delivery and documentation tracking for engineering and programmatic requirements.

    Roles and Responsibilities :

    The roles shall include:

    • Perform secure transport of classified and unclassified Navy technical documents, drawings, and work packages to and from NAVSEA, NSWCPD, NSWCCD, and other designated Navy activities across the Northeast Region.
    • Ensure daily courier services as required (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays), including classified hand-deliveries between Washington D.C. Navy Yard and NSWCPD/Carderock Division.
    • Prepare documentation packages for shipment via approved overnight mail delivery services and ensure delivery occurs within required timeframes.
    • Maintain an accurate tracking database of all courier transactions in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) A006.
    • Track shipment data including package identification numbers, NSWCPD codes, work-package descriptions, and confirmation of receipt.
    • Proactively locate and resolve issues related to packages delayed or lost in transit.
    • Adhere to all security regulations governing the transport, handling, and transfer of materials up to the SECRET classification level.
    • Support documentation control, version tracking, and configuration management tasks associated with HM&E programs as needed.

    Qualifications :

    Education :

    High school diploma or GED equivalent.

    Experience :

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the development, updating, or tracking of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) data or Navy technical work-package databases.
    • Familiarity with Navy logistics practices, documentation workflows, or classified material handling processes is required.
    • Demonstrated reliability in roles involving secure handling and transportation of sensitive materials.
    • Experience interfacing with Navy program offices or supporting engineering or logistics personnel preferred.

    Preferred Certifications and Training :

    • DoD Classified Courier Certification (preferred or must be willing to obtain upon hire)
    • Navy Operational Security (OPSEC) Awareness Training
    • Records Management and Secure Document Handling Training
    • USPS/DoD-approved shipping and packaging course (e.g., GSA or DLA certified)
    • Microsoft Excel or Access for package tracking and status database maintenance

    Proficiency in:

    • Use of Navy or DoD mailing and logistics systems
    • Document handling procedures for SECRET, FOUO, NOFORN, and NNPI materials

    Security Clearance :

    Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
