Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Driver/Laborer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and/or personnel to various job sites or destinations. When not driving, this individual will perform a variety of manual labor tasks to support daily operations. This role requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Driving and Transportation:

Operate and drive company vehicles, including light to heavy-duty trucks, with or without attached equipment.

Transport materials, tools, equipment, and personnel to and from designated locations.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS or navigation apps, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.

Conduct routine maintenance checks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights, and report any mechanical issues or damage to management.

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

Manual Labor:

Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from the vehicle.

Assist with a variety of manual labor tasks on the job site, which may include digging, lifting, carrying, and general site cleanup.

Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as light to heavy equipment as needed.

Support skilled tradespeople and team members with their tasks.

Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
