    Job Description

    The Driver/Material Handler performs a variety of tasks. When not driving; package outgoing subcontract orders, unload crate of parts from other manufacturing facility.

    What will my responsibilities include?

    • Driving duties as needed to Supplier or Customers.
    • Driving parts and documents between buildings.
    • Material Handling duties, such as packaging parts and issuing parts in ERP
    • Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company
    • Follows instructions and takes notes.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    What key skills and experience do I need?

    • Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift.
    • Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
    • Able to do repetitive motion while packaging
    • Communicates well verbally and in writing.
    • Clean Driving Record

    Physical Demands:

    • Lifting up to 40 pounds to load and unload Vehicles.
    • Being able to make drives of 50 to 60 miles more than once a day.
    • Overhead lifting and or working with hands chest high.
    • Continuous standing and walking throughout the workday.
    • Use of computer keyboard and mouse

    Work Environment:

    • The Material Handler is required to enter the warehouse and/or machine shop environment at times throughout the workday; this environment may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and vapor from coolant, etc.
    • Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required
    • Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and Company policy

    Qualifications

    Preferred:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Possess attentiveness to detail, good mathematics skills.
    • Computer skills and can use Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.

    Salary Offering: $20.50 per hour to $25.00 per hour

    Shift: M-F, 7:00am - 3:30pm
