Job Summary

We are seeking an Optometry Technician to join our team! As an Optometry Technician, you will be responsible for scheduling patients and answering phones. You will also assist as needed with procedures done by the doctor in-office, help educate patients on eye health and best practices, do contact lens instruction, and maintain an organized, clean work environment at all times. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and is extremely organized.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and gather medical history and relevant information for their visit

Assist in in-office procedures, as needed

Educate patients on best practice and eye health

Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times

Office clerical work

Assist patients in choosing their eyewear

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience desired

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent attention to detail

Familiarity with basic computer programs.
