Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Ensures the delivery of a simple, fun and in-style fashion eye glass selection experience based on doctor recommendations & patient lifestyle needs
• Creates an amazing patient experience on every visit by accurately fitting, dispensing, adjusting and repairing eye glasses
• Follows all operating policies and procedures at the highest level to include quality inspection of glasses before dispensing, submitting orders to the lab and insurance, collecting and posting payments
• Verifies, understands and explains insurance benefits to patients
• Assists with frame board management, merchandising and inventory
• Utilizes electronic medical records and web-based programs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Exceptional ability to work with the public & build lasting relationships
• Good computer skills

Additional Information

Must be available:

• Monday 7am-5pm
• Tuesday 6:30am-5pm
• Wednesday 7:45am-6pm
• Thursday 8am-5pm
• Friday 6:30am-3pm
• Saturday 7:15am-noon (twice per month - currently suspended due to COVID)

Pay starts at $15/hour for entry position requiring full training in Opticianry.  Wage increases to $18-21/hour based on proficiency.
