    Job Description You will be working with the Motorola Solutions team implementing the Next Generation E/911 system for the City of New York. This is a great opportunity for someone with 5+ years experience working in a network operations center. We are looking for a dynamic team player with excellent written and oral communications skills. The NYC E/911 system is the largest and most technologically advanced E/911 deployment in the United States. This is not a short term opportunity-the candidate will be instrumental designing and setting up the main NOC for the entire infrastructure. When the project enters the operations phase the NOC engineer will play a critical role supporting the operations and maintenance teams. The pay for this opportunity is between and $55 to $65 per hour, but can be greater depending on experience. This is an onsite job, the job requires for the candidate to be onsite at the customer location at a minimum 75% of the time. Motorola Solutions VESTA NEXT Routing Services is a portfolio of products and services that deliver the critical elements needed to enable and operate a NextGen Core Services (NGCS) solution. The call and multimedia routing subsystem technology is known as VESTA® Router. VESTA Router is responsible for receiving the incoming emergency calls, voice, SMS and multimedia, in an NENA i3 SIP format from the originating service provider (OSP). The VESTA NEXT NG9-1-1 Call Routing Service is specifically designed and engineered to provide a scalable solution that accommodates both legacy and Next Generation call routing. The role of the NextGen Core Services Monitoring Engineer is to design and implement monitoring solutions that provide real-time visibility into system health, performance, and security; Architect infrastructure, application monitoring and log analysis frameworks to provide deep operational visibility of our production systems. Responsibilities *  Design and develop monitoring solutions and tools that provide real-time visibility into system health, performance, and security; Architect infrastructure, application monitoring and log analysis frameworks to provide deep operational visibility of our production systems *  Prepare and verify monitoring requirements and business needs working with product * owners and our customer *  Perform detailed configuration, implementation, integration, requirements validation, and troubleshooting of a secure monitoring solution system to support all aspects of the day to day operations *  Develop monitoring solutions within unique environments that may require Layer 2 or Layer 3 functions including OSPF, BGP, VRRP, QoS, ACLs, NAT, and DNS solutions *  Develop and execute acceptance test plans for requirements validation testing *  Provide hands on experience to deploy third party products *  Provide continuous improvement support with Product and Deployment teams to increase quality and efficiency of the NextGen Core Services Monitoring Designs *  Collaborate with Internal and Customer operations team to understand future system state on how to best design, implement and maintain a mission-critical system Qualifications: *  5+ years of Monitoring engineering experience and a related Bachelor's Degree *  Must be a self motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives. *  Must have good interpersonal and presentation skills *  A seasoned professional having wide-ranging experience - uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways *  Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable with public speaking and developing relationships across all levels of the enterprise *  Outstanding time management skills - should be able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously *  Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint Project) *  Demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage tools such as ScienceLogic, Splunk, Infinistream, ServiceNow and others *  Experience with requirements traceability and verification of requirements based testing *  Client focused and collaborate with engineers, developers and infrastructure teams to provide a reliable and dynamic set of services through an enterprise monitoring solution Nice to have *  Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction or IT Networks *  Experience with Next Generation 9-1-1 System Deployment *  Experience with standards and regulations, including but not limited to NIST 800-53, NENA i3 *  Experience delivering private-cloud solutions *  Aggressive in learning new technologies and developing best practices for monitoring and management *  Application of strong analytical skills to solve large-scale problems Salary Range $50.00 to 65.00 per hour Company Description Drubridge LLC is a project management
