    Job Description

    Provide user support on company software including but not limited to Yardi Voyager, web portals and various 3rd party applications. Troubleshoot and advise on the appropriate action based on company policies.  ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE IS A PLUS.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Understanding of data flow between various software  
    • Research and analyze information using the tools and software available
    • Prepare and assist with reporting
    • Identify and redirect situations requiring urgent attention.
    • Document, track and monitor software problems to ensure timely resolution
    • Assist with monthly accounting closing procedures.
    • Assist with property acquisitions and initial data setups
    • Stay current with policy and system information, changes and updates
    • Handle Level 1 service desk issues
    • Document all work activity in company provided service desk system

    SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

    • Minimum 1 years’ experience with Yardi Voyager
    • 1 YEARS ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE – AP, AR AND GL MUST.
    • 1 to 2 years’ experience in the Property Management industry
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently or with a group.
    • Must have problem solving ability.
    • Attention to details and the ability to prioritize.
    • Must have working knowledge of PC’s.
    • Excellent communication and written skills.
    • Candidate will be supervised on almost all duties, mentored by more experienced personnel
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE           

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
