    The mixologist ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to Drunken Fish standards by working with their fellow service team members and providing extraordinary guest satisfaction. In addition, we are looking for someone to help refresh and update our drink menu!

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for creating and crafting cocktails, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic drinks, and other concotions

    Perfecting existing recipes and inventing new ones to ensure establishment has a unique and desirable menu

    Positive energy at all times with a winning spirit

    Team-oriented and willingness to help anyone if needed

    High multitasking abilities in a fast-paced work environment

    Accountable for all transactions regarding payments for services

    Greets guests and informs them of specials, menu changes, in addition to making suggestions and answering questions regarding food, beverage, service and overall concept

    Takes food and beverage orders from guests and enters all items into the POS

    Manage tabs or voucher systems for payment

    Processing guest orders in a timely manner

    Observes to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service and responds to any additional requests and determines when the meal has been completed

    Responsible for prep work and ensuring that opening and closing tasks are completed smoothly and thoroughly

    Inspect cleanliness and presentation of the bar and surrounding areas and glassware

    Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace

    Follows all federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations outlined by management and the Drunken Fish Employee Handbook

    Skills and Abilities

    Extreme attention to detail and quality

    Uphold personal appearances and professionalism

    Knowledge of liquor, bar service, and recipe standards

    Follow through with all assigned tasks and be flexible to accommodate quickly to newly assigned duties

    Ability to remain calm under stressful situations and provide logical solutions to issues that may arise

    Ability to follow verbal directions

    Excellent communication skills

    Ability to multitask and show flexibility during high volume periods

    Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

    Ability to work effectively within a team

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

    Required Qualifications

    18 years or older

    Education: High School or equivalent

    High energy and passion for the industry

    5+ years professional front of the house experience in full-service food and beverage establishment and behind the bar

    Knowledge of event service practices

    Reliable transportation

    Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills

    Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
