    We’re looking for a general contractor who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors to success and get the job done right. You’ll help our construction company plan and manage all new construction and remodeling projects for homeowners. You'll need to manage project costs and obtain all building permits. Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general contractor experience overseeing construction projects. Work on larger projects would be a bonus. Responsibilities: Manage construction workers and subcontractors, perform routine inspections on-site, and give guidance as needed to make sure each construction project results in a high-quality finished product Comply with all best-practice health and safety standards to prevent injuries and slowdowns at construction sites, and promptly report any issues to the project manager if they do occur Hire subcontractors and ensure they meet licensing requirements • Measure progress by creating, updating and managing schedules and tracking deadlines to make sure the project runs on schedule. • Conduct weekly team meetings and provide week ahead overview • Review and approve vendor invoices as well as track job cost to keep projects within budget • Work with the team to establish scope of work guidelines Qualifications: Minimum 1 year work experience as a general contractor needed, with 3+ years preferred OSHA 30 certification and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site Current general contractor license In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles • Able to utilize construction project management software • General Contractor License (Preferred) • 5 or more years of residential construction experience (Preferred) • 3 or more years of construction project management experience (Preferred) Compensation: $73,000
