The Position:

Dryer Vent Wizard is the only international franchise company focused exclusively on dryer vent cleaning, repair, installation, maintenance, service, and safety. We are looking to hire reliable, customer service-focused technicians who have an eye for detail and an outgoing personality. As a Dryer Vent Wizard Service Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for bringing customer’s dryer vent systems up to code, making them safer and more efficient. You will build customer relationships and uphold our standard of outstanding customer service (4.5+ stars). You have strong communication skills and can articulate information to supervisors and customers professionally. You are self-motivated, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and able to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. If this sounds like you, you may be a great fit.

Skills / Qualifications Desired:

High school diploma or state-recognized GED required

At least one year of customer service related experience, can be virtually any industry

Ability to work independently and problem solve

Ability to work required business hours, typically 8am-5pm. Hours and days can be customized

Ability to effectively communicate with customers, management, and team members

Experience in light construction, carpentry, or home handyman work preferred

Experience working with hand & cordless tools preferred

Ability to climb and handle ladders up to 24 feet in height

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to work within constricted spaces such as attics, crawlspace, or closets

Ability to work on rooftops

Ability to capture payments on a tablet computer

Valid California driver’s license and a good driving record

Ability and confidence to complete work orders & estimates in an efficient and profitable manner

Create & maintain excellent customer relations. Must be personable, willing to go the extra step to a relationship beyond homeowner and service-provider

Able to follow safety compliance rules and regulations including company and OSHA.

Must PASS a background check and drug screen.
