    Exciting opportunity to join GF Hotels & Resorts at our Embassy Suites & Homewood Suites Newark Wilmington South. Responsibilities: • Recognize opportunities to maximize revenue by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction for the hotel group • Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests • Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities • Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking • Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information Qualifications: • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • Good organization and time management skills
