    Dual Language Preschool Educator – Spanish/English

    Thrive Early Learning Center | Clarksville, Tennessee

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Position: Lead and Assistant Teacher opportunities available Age Group: Preschool and Pre-K, ages 3–5

    Do you love helping young children learn, grow, and develop an appreciation for different languages and cultures?

    Thrive Early Learning Center is seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Dual Language Preschool Educator to join our growing Spanish-English early learning program. This position is ideal for an educator who speaks Spanish and English and wants to help preschool children build language skills through meaningful conversations, play, music, stories, routines, and hands-on learning.

    Our dual language classroom is designed to prepare children for kindergarten while helping them develop confidence and early communication skills in both Spanish and English. Children do not need to speak Spanish before entering the program.

    What You Will Do

    Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 3–5

    Introduce and reinforce Spanish and English naturally throughout the daily routine

    Lead developmentally appropriate lessons, learning centers, small-group activities, music, movement, stories, and conversations

    Support early literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness

    Incorporate authentic Spanish-speaking cultures through books, music, art, celebrations, family traditions, and classroom materials

    Create lesson plans aligned with Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards

    Observe children’s development and document their progress

    Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and coworkers

    Maintain an organized classroom and follow all health, safety, supervision, and licensing requirements

    Participate in training, staff meetings, classroom preparation, and school events

    What We Are Looking For

    Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English

    A genuine love for young children and early childhood education

    Dependability, professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude

    Ability to actively supervise children and remain engaged throughout the day

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Willingness to follow curriculum expectations, classroom routines, and licensing requirements

    Previous preschool, child care, teaching, or early childhood experience preferred

    CDA, TECTA, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or coursework in early childhood education is preferred but not required for every position

    Minimum Requirements

    At least 18 years old

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Able to pass all required background checks

    Able to complete required health and child care training

    Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and participate in indoor and outdoor activities

    Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

    Available to work a dependable Monday–Friday schedule
