    A Duct Technician Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC ductwork systems in residential setting. This role requires expertise in reading schematics, fabricating ductwork, and ensuring proper airflow for heating and cooling systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Read and interpret HVAC blueprints and schematics.
    • Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork using fiberglass and flexible materials.
    • Install ducts, vents, and air distribution systems according to industry standards.
    • Seal and insulate ductwork to prevent air leaks and improve efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
    • Test HVAC systems and ductwork for proper airflow and functionality.
    • Troubleshoot and repair duct-related issues.
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Experience in HVAC duct installation or related field.
    • Knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow principles, and duct materials.
    • Ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy equipment.
    • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in duct installation.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Valid and clear driver's license.

    Work Environment:

    • Field-based work in residential properties.
    • Exposure to dust, debris, and construction materials.
    • May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends.
