We are looking for a marketing assistant to join our team as our first hire at our exciting startup in the beauty/suncare space! This position is geared for a recent graduate looking to gain experience in the beauty industry with a strong interest & entry-level experience in entrepreneurship, brand building, e-commerce, marketing & events, and production. Must be eager to learn, have strong project management skills, be hyperly organized & detail-oriented, have excellent written & communication skills, and last but not least, have a positive, get-things-done attitude.

Job description is as follows:

• Assist in overall day to day assistant needs under Co-Founders, Emily & Mei
• Schedule social content with a focus on digital executions for all existing and new products/skus
• Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns on key platforms
• Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas, and content opportunities
• Conduct monthly reporting and analysis of social campaigns across all platforms
• Suggest activities and initiatives to drive more traffic, sales and exposure to our brand page
• Support the planning and execution of special projects such as our summer events and partnerships in NYC and LA
• Support product development team with sourcing components, organization of product samples, organizing price sheets, etc
• Support PR partner in necessary sample shipment & tracking needs
• Support operations/sales team and monitor purchase orders, deliveries, inventory tracking, etc.
