    ECOMMERCE AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER DUNEBERRY RESORT WEAR (PINEHURST)  

    ABOUT DUNEBERRY 

    DuneBerry is a Celebration of the Resort Lifestyle.  DuneBerry Resort Wear is a unique, fun, colorful happy-place shopping experience in upscale multigenerational "Family" Resort Wear – It’s a Celebration of what’s fun about resort lifestyle apparel.

    Our use of the “Dune” name was both driven by our love for the now internationally famous Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (home of our DuneBerry Leland store); and in creating a somewhat nonsensical, whimsical and fun name for our Women’s, Men’s & Children’s Resort Wear boutiques.  As children, we looked forward to going to the Sand Dunes on the Northwest Lake Michigan shoreline every summer to enjoy the fun and carefree “Dune Life”  where the windswept sand meets the blue water and blue sky!  We want to share with others our celebration of what’s fun and special about the “Dune Life,” and Resort Living by creating a very special experience for our guests in our classic, preppy and sophisticated women’s, men’s & children’s resort wear (gifts & accessories) boutique - DuneBerry Resort Wear.

    THE ROLE OF THE POSITION

    The person in this roll will be responsible for handling all in-store operations of our online shop including photography, posting to website, inventory management, marketing through social media, shipping and handling as well as customer service communication with the use of our online platform. The online shop is an extension of our brick and mortar business and must work fluidly with our everyday store operations. The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for helping integrate the online business into the existing store by working with store staff and management.  This position will also manage our eShop LIVE platform.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare, photograph and upload inventory to the online site using DuneBerry guidelines and standards.  • Responsible for posting to social media as instructed, according to store guidelines.  • Manage all inventory related to the online store. Develop best practices for tracking and organizing inventory effectively. Train and coach store team on all online inventory related procedures.  • Follow up with all customer service inquiries for website which may entail return procedures and communication with DuneBerry vendors.  • Monitor social media platforms for questions, concerns and all customer interactions.  • Coordinate packaging and shipping processes on a daily basis for outgoing product. • Manage and promote our proprietary eShop LIVE platform for 1-on-1 video shopping • Regularly audit and update content on websites.  • Development of promotional strategies to drive eShop LIVE bookings and increase eCommerce website traffic.  • Management of content across top search sites.  • Analysis of each campaign deployed to report ROI and utilize the data to adjust the approach. • Development and activation of media opportunities.  • Build and deploy promotional, special events, and holiday activities and transactional email campaigns.  • Continuously test email campaigns to ensure highest possible performance.  • Create workflows that trigger throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales and create loyalty.  • Analyze and report on email campaign performance.  • Respond to all social media direct messages and comments in public view with a sense of urgency.  • Assist in identifying social media influencer opportunities and organize collaboration.  • Analyze and report on monthly follower metrics.  • Shared graphic design responsibility for all digital and print assets.  • Communicate effectively with all departments and team members.  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self and subordinates.  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with our vendors.  • Always maintain positive attitude and approach. 

    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES 

    • 3-5 years of E-Commerce experience
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
    • Experience utilizing social media platforms
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, efficient and professional manner with management and outside collaborators
    • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
    • Computer expertise on Shopify and social media platforms
    • Exceptional attention to details
