    Job Description

    As a Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Dungarvin, you will have the ability to enhance the quality of life for an individual living in Janesville with complex behavioral support needs.

    To be successful in this role as a Direct Support Professional you’ll need to be mindful of the individual’s history, past trauma, diagnoses, and behavior support plan and with empathy encourage them to live an independent and productive life.

    We will equip you with comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role!

    • Hourly Rate: $19/hr with wage increases available after 90 days of employment!
    • ** $2.00/hr weekend shift differential** for shifts worked on weekends
    • Multiple schedules and shift times available

    Our first approach to supporting a person with complex behavioral needs is to utilize verbal de-escalation strategies and show empathy towards the individual. Staff are also trained in the use of physical and manual restraints. A team of four staff are available to support this individual’s unique needs.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
    • Current auto liability insurance
    • Candidates must have own transportation and maybe at times transporting person served in their own vehicles.
    • Prefer experience working with persons with challenging behaviors.
