Job Description
This is a position that provides a personalized blend of IHS services that focus on the support and skill development a person needs to maintain and/or increase their independence. Staff will work in both community and in-home settings. Staff will work with multiple persons served and will need a reliable vehicle to drive to and from shifts and be able to transport Persons Served.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Assist individuals in a 1:1 in-home setting as you support them in pursuing a happy, healthy, and more independent life.
Provide skill development in areas including but not limited to: community participation, health, safety and wellness, household management and adaptive skills.
Attend team meetings, write progress reports, and assist supervisors in maintaining consistency in service provision and communication with support team members.
Create lasting, positive impacts on peoples’ lives through coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals.

Qualifications
Associates in relevant field OR two years equivalent experience in working with developmentally disabled and/or mental illness, as determined by the supervisor.
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Adept in the use of technology and possess a smart device with adequate data
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Possess a reliable vehicle to transport residents as needed
Current personal auto liability insurance
