Job Description

The Program Coordinator has a responsibility to coordinate the variety of services including, but not limited to:

• Assist the Program Director in maintaining consistency in programming
• Carry out the responsibilities and duties of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) during all direct care shifts when necessary
• Individual care
• One-on-one training of staff
• Communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members at their primary site
• Individual finances
• Recreation
• Program Services
• Educational/Vocational programs
• Documenting and follow-up of individual and program related issues such as ISP reports
• Health care and nutrition
• Facility management

The program coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.

Qualifications

Must haves:

Be at least 21 years of age

Have basic computer knowledge

At least 1 year of prior experience in this (or related) field

Have prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy.

Prefer experience working in a day program or vocational setting

Hours/Shift: Full Time Monday-Friday Daytime hours

Wage: $21.25/hr plus benefits
