    Job Description

    The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. 

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Provide ongoing coaching, development and resources to assist managers with employment law, investigations, coaching, progressive discipline, conditions of employment, accommodations, leaves of absences, terminations and employee development and engagement.
    • Build a strong, communicative partnership with operations/program management to assist in determining the needs of the business; providing HR tools and resources where needed. And will participate in business development, support, and growth of the organization.
    • Assist with the strategic planning to ensure the company is well-positioned for growth and HR needs.
    • Oversee the implementation of effective employee recruitment and retention strategies in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Assure human resources functions comply with regulatory standards and the organization’s policies and are performed effectively and efficiently.
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
    • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Provide specific HR training to supervisors on employment law, leaves of absences, workers’ compensation information and procedures..

    WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

    MUST HAVE:

    • High School Diploma with 5-7 years of general human resources experience.
    • Broad-based experience in employee relations, recruiting, and workers compensation, claims management, training, HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.
    • Experience with investigations, coaching, development and training, project and change management and data analysis preferred.
    • Experience specifically with performance management, coaching and developing others specific to HR

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
    • PHR certification OR SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

    • Strong knowledge of the State and federal laws and regulations; is pertinent to the success of the market as well as the State Director.
