    Job Description

he Delivery Driver position uses a Dunn Lumber vehicle to make safe, accurate, and on time deliveries to job sites in the greater Seattle area. Drivers work closely with Load Builders, Delivery Coordinators, and Dispatch as they load, transport, and unload deliveries from their home yard to local job sites. When driving around and working directly with customers, Delivery Drivers must maintain a friendly and positive demeanor as they represent the entire company while away from the store. The Delivery Driver position is also one that can earn the most overtime, as much of the daily job is dependent on traffic, weather, and jobsite accessibility. During a slow season, Drivers may work at their home branch to assist in the yard, but with our growing business model and increasing demand for delivered goods, this occurrence is rare.

The door truck is a big deal. Specialty Sales doesn't just move a lot of doors, windows & dollars for Dunn Lumber, it creates a unique Driver role. You have to be able to handle unique material; and handle it well. That means safely for yourself, your coworkers and without damaging the material. The truck doesn't require a CDL but the requirements of the job do put the 2 Drivers staffing it on a unique wage path. So - opportunity is there.

This is a Full-Time job working 40 hours per week with overtime eligibility!
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm. As stated above, this position frequently earns overtime as you may finish deliveries late depending on outside factors.
