Job Description

About the Position:
The DC Sales team works strictly out of our Dunn Lumber Distribution Center in Everett. DC Sales
answers phone calls routed from the Call Center to complete phone sales. In addition, this position
assists with online orders through the Dunn Lumber website and actively seeks to handle sales calls
that originate at the retail stores, alleviating our Sales Counters at our retail store locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily.
• Answers customer phone calls and writes sales through BisTrack (point of sale system)
• Assists customers with their online orders through Dunn Lumber’s website
• Creates purchase orders and transfers for sales transactions that originate both through our
website and over the phone for delivery and will-call
• Reviews parked and placed web-sale orders within BisTrack
• Communicates order information with other Dunn Lumber locations via phone and email
• Fields and assists with incoming calls from the entire company to better serve our customers
• Assisting in other duties assigned

Previous Experience
Previous BisTrack and/or Dunn Lumber Counter Sales experience preferred

Technical Skills
Proficient computer use abilities
The ability to navigate Microsoft suite applications
Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or
constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including ones self. This position is
described as sedentary work

Work Environment
This job frequently operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise
level in the work environment is low.

Additional Information

This is an entry level position with a paid two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.

This position is in a yard/retail environment. This position is largely active and requires employees to be on their feet for most of the shift. The noise level is moderate to loud.
