    SUMMARY

    Dura Software is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to help us grow our rapidly growing software business. As a direct report to the CEO, the HR leader will be entrusted to create and execute a strategic vision for Human Resources while building an expert team to support our diverse portfolio of software companies. The ideal candidate will have a technology/software background and expertise across a complete range of HR functions. This leader will be leading, directing and building all Human Resource functions for the company including: Compensation, benefits practices and policies, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, diversity/inclusion and learning and development. The Vice President of Human Resources must be passionate about building a winning culture and be able to serve as trusted advisor, coach and mentor to the Dura Executive Team, as well as to all levels of employees within the organization.

    The Vice President candidate will be an enthusiastic, strong-willed, and passionate leader with the ability to inspire and create trust across the company. The VP of HR must be confident and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Effective dealing with ambiguity, rapid change and communicating tough messages when necessary. This is highly strategic position within a rapidly growing company that will help make us win in the market, so a track record of success in a high growth environment is highly desirable.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Vision and Strategy: Define and execute on the vision and strategy for Dura while building and leading the human resource organization.
    • Values and Culture: A cultural leader that continuously helps evolve and maintain our core values and operating principles. Helps shape the strategy and execution of companywide communications.
    • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Maintain, improve, and scale processes to recruit and retain high performing, diverse, and mission-oriented talent. Design employer branding initiatives that increase Dura brand awareness.
    • Learning and Development: Build and scale programs that help employees, managers, and executives grow and evolve in their roles to meet the ever-changing requirements of Dura and the technology industry. Craft internal communication processes that keep the organization informed and aligned as it grows.
    • Performance Management and Recognition: Provide organization-wide Human Resource Business Partner support and build and maintain performance management and talent recognition processes. Identify high and low performers, reward performance, and drive transparent feedback that leads to effective coaching.
    • Compensation and Pay: Benchmark and align compensation to industry standards across base, bonus, and equity grants. Partner with executives to support retention and improve alignment using well-designed bonus schemes. Execute on a timely and accurate pay schedule across states, countries, and roles.
    • Key Performance Indicators/Reporting: Build HR and Talent KPIs including employee engagement, retention/turnover, diversity and inclusion to drive alignment with core value and organizational objectives.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required. Masters preferred
    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
    • Previous experience in developing and implementing progressive HR strategies.
    • Demonstrated success building a great culture and driving employee engagement  
    • Strong background leading recruiting strategies.
    • Strong knowledge of employment law and the regulatory environment surrounding the HR function.
    • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional demeanor-positive communication, team skills/cross-functional cooperation.
    • Excellent computer literacy, including a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strategic thinker and consistent implementer.
    • Strong knowledge and experience with HR systems
