    SUMMARY

    6Connex, a leader in virtual environments software, has an exciting opportunity for a Training & Development Specialist (TDS) to help lead our growth in the Americas market. As part of our Client Services team, the TDS will assist in the creation, development, implementation, and delivery of training and development programs for both corporate and internal staff.

    This role will work collaboratively across many organizations to build new training strategies and develop unique training programs using new methods and techniques to train 6Connex customers and new hires in the skills needed to provide outstanding customer service.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Partner with other departments to coordinate and guide their respective planning and delivery of essential client and job skills training.
    • Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, online courses, knowledge bank articles, simulations, and videos.
    • Perform other related training and instructional design duties, as required.
    • Facilitate the process of authoring, publishing, and deploying learning content in LMS preferred tools.
    • Collaborate with fellow L&D trainers throughout each onboarding program to ensure all new hires and customers are on track and have the support they need to be successful.
    • Follow the established training schedule.
    • Actively participating in L&D team meetings and material review sessions.
    • Participate in training curriculum development for 6Connex clients and employees.
    • Provides weekly reporting to team leader related to training class progress.
    • Maintain the team's internal knowledge base system and update content to accurately reflect current standard operating procedures.
    • Write documentation and materials to be used in the delivery of the training and design exercises to enhance the presentations.
    • Plan, direct, and undertake virtual/digital learning, webinars, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, and workshops.
    • Stay current with L&D Industry trends and best practices to elevate learning offerings.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or related field required.
    • Experience delivering virtual instructor-led training to train clients.
    • Strong presentations skills, with the ability to convey technical / functional issues in a clear, concise, and effective manner, and to understand context and tone appropriate for a global audience.
    • Proven experience and results in conducting fully remote training.
    • Demonstrated ability to teach individuals and/or groups, as well as measure training outcomes and effectiveness.
    • Experience in Instructional Design in Adobe Captivate 
    • Strong knowledge of Learning Processes 
    • Proficient in Adobe design products, Office, and Google Suite applications.
    • Ability to design, deliver, and implement effective training and development content.
    • Team oriented, cooperative, and flexible. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization.
