JOB TITLE: Accounting Clerk
JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing general clerical & bookkeeping support and assisting in maintaining NetSuite data integrity for the Finance Team. Attention to detail, accuracy, critical thinking, and time management are critical to role success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; One or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
TECHNICAL ABILITY:
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to learn and gain proficiency in ERP systems to understand impact of daily financial transactions.
