We are looking for Manufacturing Polishers to join our 1st shift! This operation is critical to the precision heated components required by our Fortune 500 customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning machined aluminum castings using spray alcohol, water, and/or acetone
• Polish cleaned casting with use of various equipment such as palm sander, air orbital sander (scotchbrite pad), and grit sandpaper to remove machining marks, dents, and scuff marks
• During and after the process, conduct checks of parts
• Produce product based on run time
• Work in a safe manner at all times
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep the area clean and free of hazards
• Other duties in the department, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school or GED preferred but not required
• Ability to rotate aluminum casting that varies in weight and size 5-50lbs, during polish process

• Stand occasionally

• Lifting /carrying 50 lbs. occasionally; 6-8 lbs. frequently
• Pulling occasionally
• Fine manipulations seldom
• Power grasping constantly
• Squatting seldom

• Blueprint Reading
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Mechanical Assembly

SALARY INFO:
