SUMMARY
The Logistics Analyst is an integral role in the Supply Chain organization, with dual responsibility to act as the primary customer service representative for our family of breweries interfacing with multiple wholesalers, and as a logistics analyst multiple internal sales divisions. Excellent communication skills and prior customer service experience are required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and manage fulfillment of monthly beer orders from wholesale customers
Monitor internal inventory levels and availability on a regular basis, both finished goods and raw materials
Proactively identify and address situations where shipments may be delayed or affected by inventory levels for both finished goods and raw materials
Monitor distributor inventory levels and availability on a regular basis to make shipment decisions and adjustments
Release orders to the appropriate warehouse location as they become available for shipment
Proactively identify and address situations where inventory levels are outside of acceptable range
Work with OTR/intermodal freight carrier(s) to arrange transportation of goods from brewery warehouse(s) to distributor warehouse(s)
Obtain spot quotes from freight carriers for FTL/LTL shipments through internal logistics channels
Work with distributors and third-party service provider to ensure timely and efficient dunnage returns
Calculate and ensure that appropriate freight charges are billed to the customer, research and respond to billing and pricing inquiries as needed
Provide proactive and regular updates to customers regarding the status of their orders
Work closely with Warehouse team to facilitate operational efficiency
Work closely with Sales team to facilitate sales execution
Work closely with Production teams for all breweries to ensure planning meets needs
Work closely with Internal Marketing and Sales teams for sales samples as needed
Work closely with Inventory Fulfillment Specialists to reconcile inventory counts, follow up with suppliers on status of raw materials
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and exemplify customer service best practices
Additional project work as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Positive, upbeat attitude
Emphasis on strong teamwork
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited direction
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
