SUMMARY We are currently seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador who resides in Suffolk County, Long Island. Candidates will be expected to conduct samplings at on- and off-premise accounts and at special events, as a support to the Sales Team. Sampling events at on-premise locations (bars, restaurants) will require approaching patrons to sample and promote the featured brand(s). Sampling events at off-premise locations (beer and grocery stores) will require providing samples and suggestive selling to consumers from a designated location within the retail establishment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and interact with guests and account staff in a professional and friendly manner

Assess guests’ needs and preferences, make recommendations, and suggestively sell

Check guest identification to verify they are of legal drinking age

Follow SMART guidelines for responsible serving

Comply with all food and beverage regulations and retailer specifications

Maintain a clean and organized station

Restock and replenish inventory and supplies

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Outgoing and friendly personality, ability to quickly build rapport with customers

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to learn quickly – must be able to retain tasting notes and converse about the various beers we brew

Comfortable working independently

Ability to lift and move 30lbs unassisted and stand for prolonged periods

Will be required to obtain liquor license, SMART training & Beer Server Certification

Evening and Weekend work required

Must be 21 years of age or older serve alcohol

Valid government issued drivers license

Must possess a reliable cell phone and vehicle

Must be able to update availability to our shared calendar on a bi-weekly basis

Craft beer enthusiast or prior industry knowledge/experience a plus
