Dwell is the definitive source for discovering the best in contemporary home design and for learning how to make your own space a great place to live. We are currently seeking an articles editor to join our team.

Dwell's articles editor will conceive, assign, and edit home tours, designer profiles, essays, and other stories with a focus on content for our digital platforms. In addition to publishing daily pieces, you'll help refine editorial processes, build and nurture a stable of contributors, and uphold high standards in keeping with Dwell's voice and mission. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who loves to tackle line edits as well as develop and execute ambitious packages. Prior experience covering furnishings, lighting, and home design is a plus. This position can be based in New York City or San Francisco.

 WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Conceive, assign, and edit daily articles for Dwell.com using our custom CMS
• Develop and oversee story franchises while supporting related sales and marketing projects
• Help onboard and manage a diverse team of contributors
• Write stories for Dwell as needed

ABOUT YOU

• 3-6 years of editorial experience working in a digital format with daily deadlines 
• Excellent writing and editing skills and an unwavering attention to detail
• Strong project management experience and ability to juggle multiple deadlines
• Passion for contemporary architecture and equitable, inclusive, sustainable design
• Knowledge of home products a plus
