    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    We are looking for a passionate, self-driven and experienced Financial Controller to join our team!

    As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing, developing and overseeing the entire financial management system in our company. Effective financial management is crucial to our company's performance. As such, you will be a key member of the management team and will play a significant role in the company's growth and success.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee various accounting operations.
    • Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
    • Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions.
    • Coordinate and lead month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
    • Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
    • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Produce financial statements as requested by senior management.
    • Coordinate and lead the preparation of regulatory reporting.
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Develop and adhere to policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
    • 5 years of combined experience in accounting and finance.
    • Advanced degree in Accounting.
    • CPA preferred.
    • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
    • Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
    • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers.
    • Good understanding of accounting software.
    • Satisfactory and positive responses from business and personal references.
    • Passing of a background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction, and history, educational and driving records.
