    Job Description

Jobs4More.com is a Jobs Board and Good-faith Outreach Website focusing on the recruitment and placement of minorities, females, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Check it out here, www.jobs4more.com. The whole point of the site is to help get the word out about great jobs, and help diversify the applicant base for the positions listed on our board. We are trying to reach any and all referral sources and community organizations that can refer qualified minority, female, veteran, or individuals with disabilities for employment consideration. We want to create more opportunities for more people. This is the best way we could put our resources to work doing that… and we could use your help.

We are currently seeking the support of an Outreach and Recruiting Assistant who will be primarily responsible for researching and identifying new job seeker referral sources. This position uses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and internet research skills, to identify new referral source organizations and career centers. You may also follow up with existing outreach partnerships to verify and request information. Documentation of the efforts are key to this job, so skills with word processing systems, like MS Word, and maintain activity logs using Outlook and Excel are very necessary. Additionally, this position works with the job listing team to communicate job opening information to area community referral sources, so lots of time on the phone and communicating via email.

This is a Part-Time job that is primarily remote work. This position requires 10-20 hours per week of internet research, phone calls, emails, and documenting/logging your efforts. Day Shift only at this time, as that is when the career centers and referral source organizations are open for you to speak to someone.

    HERE ARE THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Research and identify community referral sources and organizations to support and refer minority, female, veteran and disability job seekers for positions we list.

    • Correspond by phone and email directly with the community organizations to establish a specific contact who will receive and distribute the job opening information within their networks and to other career counselors, representatives, and jobseekers in their organizations.

    • Enter organization and contact information into our referral source database.

    • Maintain email correspondence, written and electronic notes and logs, and all other associated documentation of all efforts and outcomes.

    • Maintain and communicate a basic understanding of various client workforces to communicate general information to the referral source organizations and contacts.

    SOME OTHER DUTIES

    • Provide administrative support to Outreach, Recruiting, and Job Posting teams.

    • May establish and post job advertisements with supervision.

    • May prepare necessary documents, reports, and descriptions of work as needed.

    • Communicate requirements and duties to prospective job candidates and referral source contacts.

    • Maintain good relationship with all candidates, referral source contacts, employees and corporate clients.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Excellent team working skills

    • Very organized and responsible

    • Able to work within deadlines

    • Fluent in English required, bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

    • Excellent writing and oral communication skills

    • Basic knowledge of recruitment and legal aspects of the hiring process strongly preferred.

    • Hard working and dynamic person

    • Very good computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience strongly preferred)

    • Friendly and Customer Service oriented demeanor (must have excellent communication skills and a desire to be helpful to people - especially by phone and email)

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate’s Degree or greater in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or other related field strongly preferred. 1-3 years experience as an Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Representative, Recruiting Assistant or other similar position strongly preferred. High level of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook strongly preferred.
