    Dyna Electric is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as an Assistant Project Manager for our Solar Group. This position is based in our corporate office in Manchester, CT.

    Job Summary

    As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be working directly with the Project Manager to plan and supervise projects from start to finish. The assistant project manager supports with purchasing materials, recording the installation progress and ensuring the Field Foreman have the support and materials they need.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems.

    Manage material ordering.

    Prepare preliminary layouts and photovoltaic system production estimates using Helioscope and PVSyst platforms.

    Completing and coordinating Utility's interconnection applications, drawings and electrical gear shop drawing submittals.

    Visiting sites for project feasibility and adherence to construction documents.

    Review equipment specification and any substitution submittals by installation teams.

    Perform interval site inspections during construction phase. Report any deviations and concerns to upper management. Provide solutions on how to mitigate issues.

    Attend kick-off meeting with Field Supervisor to discuss the job.

    Procurement of materials and track lead times.

    Coordination with subcontractors.

    Provide Field Supervisor with installation instructions and hardware needed for all projects.

    Provide consistent communication and follow-up with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of three years' experience in the electrical field.

    Minimum of two-years of experience designing C&I solar arrays in the 1 MW to 10 MW size, ground-mount and roof-top.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, etc.)
