Cannon Security Products is seeking an experienced and proactive Dynamics 365 ERP Manager to take full ownership of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) environment. This pivotal role will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our ERP system, from leading the implementation of new modules and functionalities to ensuring its ongoing maintenance, optimization, and alignment with our strategic business goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management who thrives on solving business problems with technology, improving processes, and empowering users to work more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
System Implementation & Enhancement: •Lead and manage the implementation of new D365 modules, with an immediate focus on Engineering Change Management (ECM) and Master Planning. •Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments (Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales) to gather and document business requirements. •Act as the primary liaison with external implementation partners, managing project timelines, budget, and deliverables. •Oversee all phases of implementation projects, including solution design, configuration, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training.
System Administration & Maintenance: •Serve as the primary internal point of contact and subject matter expert for all D365 F&O matters. •Manage user security roles, permissions, and access to ensure data integrity and compliance. •Perform routine system health checks and troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner. •Manage Microsoft’s "One Version" release cycle, including testing and communicating new features and updates to the business. •Maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and training materials.
Process Optimization & Strategy: •Proactively analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation within the D365 ecosystem. •Leverage the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to create reports, dashboards, and simple applications that extend ERP functionality and provide actionable insights. •Stay current with the Dynamics 365 roadmap and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations to leadership. •Develop and deliver ongoing training programs for end-users to drive user adoption and proficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills •Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. •5+ years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment. •3+ years of hands-on functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (or AX 2012 R3). •Demonstrated experience with the following D365 SCM modules: Master Planning, Production Control, Inventory Management, and Product Information Management. •Proven experience leading or playing a key role in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation or major module rollout. •Excellent business analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. •Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. •Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams, business users, and executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications •Direct experience implementing or using the Engineering Change Management (ECM) module. •Experience with other D365 modules such as Finance, Warehouse Management (WMS), or Project Management and Accounting. •Proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform (especially Power BI for reporting). •Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment and support case management. •Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-300: Core Finance and Operations, MB-330: Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant). •Experience working with and managing third-party implementation partners. •Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus, given our operations in the U.S. and Mexico.
