    Job Description

    TITLE: Quality Coordinator STATUS: Non - Exempt DEPARTMENT: Quality REPORTS TO: Lead Quality Inspector and Director of Quality, Human Resources and Safety FAA DOT: YES

    POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Quality team, the Quality Coordinator performs scheduling, coordinates part movement between departments, reports on throughput, performs inspection of piece parts, makes stock transactions, and provides direction to inspectors as to priorities and schedule requirements.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Work with cross-functional departments to develop priorities for shipments and communicate requirements throughout the Quality department
    • Coordinate priority tasks with inspectors as required to support delivery dates
    • Ensure a smooth flow of product from outside processing or fabrication areas through quality areas including Receiving and Final inspection
    • Attend coordination meetings and provide updates to the team
    • Perform inventory transactions to support material movement and traceability.
    • Perform preliminary work order/traveler review to ensure revisions and details are accurate.
    • Provide support on certification generation, review, and upload to customer sites as required.
    • Review completed work orders and build packages for accuracy and notify appropriate departments when corrections are required.
    • Work with the different departments on processing jobs
    • Review the job packages for accuracy
    • Organize the job packages for scanning
    • Generate labels and perform part markings to drawing and customer requirements.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must be a team worker, should be able to work independently, act decisively, and have planning and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. EXPERIENCE: None Required will train

    EDUCATION: Minimum of high school education or Equivalent WORKING CONDITIONS: Personal computer and related peripherals, telephone systems, and standard office equipment; minimum 40 work hours expected per week during company operating hours. Some overtime may be required.

    Work 4 - 10 hour days | Mon - Thu - Some overtime may be required SUCCESS FACTORS: Consistent personality, dependable nature, and willingness to learn are absolutely necessary.
