    Dysautonomia International is a non-profit patient advocacy organization that works to improve the lives of over 70 million individuals worldwide living with autonomic nervous system disorders through cutting-edge medical research, clinician education, public awareness, patient empowerment, and legislative advocacy programs. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager for our Westhampton, NY office. The successful candidate must be an articulate, well-organized self-starter with office management, payroll and QuickBooks experience.     • Must have at least three years of management experience in an office setting
    • Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in business, management, finance, accounting, bookkeeping, human resources or equivalent degree
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Drive equivalents
    • Minimum of two years of experience using QuickBooks
    • Minimum of two years of supervising or administering payroll
    • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new technology
    • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and follow through
    • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills/critical thinking skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment or independently
    • Possess a positive, confident, professional demeanor

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervise office operations for the organization in support of our programmatic patient advocacy work
    • Assist with new employee onboarding, training, clarity, and act as a liaison for the CEO on all human resource and payroll functions using ADP
    • Ensure all income and expenses are classified properly in QuickBooks, with necessary back up documentation
    • Assistant accountant in preparing annual financial statements and tax filings
    • Serve as a liaison for the CEO to the organization’s insurance carriers
    • Resolve administrative problems, including coordinating repairs to IT and office equipment
    • Stock the office with required supplies and equipment
    • Work closely with the CEO and other staff on key initiatives, operations, and events

    LOCATION & SCHEDULE: This is a full-time Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern position at our Westhampton, NY office. Optional work from home 1-2 days per week. Our office is a beautiful, light and airy space in a new construction building, conveniently located on Montauk Hwy. COVID-19 POLICY: As a patient advocacy organization, protecting the health of our employees, volunteers and our patient community is our top priority. Candidates invited for in person interviews will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to the interview. SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range for this position is $48,000-$52,000 annually, depending on experience. We offer paid vacation, sick days, family leave and holidays, as well as a monthly stipend for for home office supplies/internet. Health insurance is not offered, but we can contribute to an employee's own health insurance expenses as part of the overall compensation package. START DATE: We are looking for someone to begin as soon as possible.
