E&I Engineer – Refinery / Petrochemical Projects

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to support major capital projects in a refinery/petrochemical environment. This role is responsible for the design, specification, and field support of electrical and instrumentation systems throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop E&I designs, technical specifications, and scopes of work for capital and turnaround projects.

• Ensure compliance with NEC, API, ISA, and client engineering standards.

• Provide field engineering support during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.

• Review and approve vendor documents, drawings, and equipment specifications.

• Coordinate with cross-discipline engineering teams, project managers, and site operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of E&I engineering experience in refinery or petrochemical environments.

• Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems.

• EPC project experience required.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, and other relevant software tools.

• Must be commutable distance to Beaumont
