    Project Type: Large Industrial Project / LNG / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Power Generation

    Position Overview

    We are currently reviewing candidates for an upcoming Instrumentation & Electrical (E&I) Technician opportunity supporting I/O Checks, Loop Checks, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up (CSU) activities on a large industrial project.

    The ideal candidate must have direct field experience with instrumentation and electrical activities related to loop checks, commissioning support, instrument calibration, field troubleshooting, technical drawings, field instrument verification, minor repairs, and commissioning documentation.

    This role is intended for candidates with experience working on large industrial projects such as LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Power Generation projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform I/O (Input/Output) Checks and Loop Checks.

    Support Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up (CSU) activities.

    Perform instrument calibration and field troubleshooting.

    Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and wiring diagrams.

    Verify field instruments to DCS, PLC, or vendor panels.

    Perform minor repairs such as tubing and instrument terminations.

    Complete loop check sheets and commissioning documentation.

    Use Fluke calibrators, HART communicators, or similar test equipment.

    Support field activities on LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Power Generation projects.

    Required Qualifications

    Direct experience as an Instrumentation & Electrical (E&I) Technician, I&E Technician, Instrumentation Technician, Electrical Technician, or similar role.

    Experience performing I/O Checks and Loop Checks.

    Experience supporting Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up (CSU) activities.

    Experience with instrument calibration and field troubleshooting.

    Experience reading P&IDs, loop drawings, and wiring diagrams.

    Experience verifying field instruments to DCS, PLC, or vendor panels.

    Experience performing minor repairs such as tubing and instrument terminations.

    Experience completing loop check sheets and commissioning documentation.

    Experience using Fluke calibrators, HART communicators, or similar test equipment.

    Experience working on LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Power Generation projects.

    Important Experience Requirement

    Candidates must clearly demonstrate experience in the following areas:

    Candidates whose experience does not clearly show direct instrumentation, loop check, commissioning, or CSU experience may not be considered a full match for this opportunity.

    About the Role

    This position requires an Instrumentation & Electrical (E&I) Technician capable of supporting I/O Checks, Loop Checks, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and CSU activities on a large industrial project.

    The successful candidate must be able to support field instrumentation and electrical activities, perform calibration and troubleshooting, read technical drawings, verify field instruments to DCS, PLC, or vendor panels, complete loop check sheets, and support commissioning documentation.

    This opportunity is focused on candidates with direct experience in instrumentation, electrical systems, loop checks, commissioning support, and CSU activities within LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Power Generation project environments.
