Job brief We are looking for an experienced CPA to join our small and growing accounting firm. This is a part-time job with a option for full time in the future. We are excited to have you on board. The Accountant's job duties include working closely with our Accounting team to prepare financial statements and tax returns. Our ideal candidate holds a CPA license and has experience with Quickbooks desktop and online. Our company offers flexible scheduling, and some remote work are options for the right candidate. Responsibilities * Prepare Individual, LLC and S-corp tax returns * Research and solve complex accounting & tax questions and problems independently * Coordinate and communicate with clients for information, documents and etc. * Clean up financials and prep them for taxes * Make Adjusting Journal Entries when necessary * Bring the books to the trial balance stage * Prepare and file sales tax returns, 1099s and business licenses. * Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements Requirements * Honest and trustworthy with confidential information. * Efficient, Hard working and dedicated. * Must have some Quickbooks Desktop and Online experience. * Experience working for a CPA firm. * CPA or EA license a plus or working towards these licenses. * Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles * Great verbal and written communication skills * Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records * Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers * Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software * Proficiency in English and in MS Office * Customer service orientation and negotiation skills * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail * BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or in Progress with a great GPA About E&S Accountancy Group www.escpagroup.com For many years we have been engaged in high-quality accounting and tax services.
