E-TOWN MARKETING & DISTRIBUTING is offering a full-time BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our sales force. A SALES REPRESENTATIVE that is decisive, self-confident individual who wishes to pursue a career in sales in a new and exciting industry will be given ample opportunity to generate high income and advance their career with our team. As a SALES REPRESENTATIVE, you will be responsible for selling, building displays, enriching relationships with new and existing customers and product placement upon your territory region. The right candidates will be entrepreneurial and focused on the bottom line. We are expanding rapidly, so the successful SALES REPRESENTATIVE will be given significant responsibility and autonomy in developing the processes and procedures that will make our team successful.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation)
- Must have a positive attitude to develop and maintain relationships with customers when dealing with customers
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
- Must possess the ability to generate sales and follow through
- Must be able to perform physical lifting, push/pulling, frequent standing/walking and driving 100's of miles per day
- Responsible for making daily decisions relative to retail inventory levels using past sales history, changes in climate, competition activity, and special promotional activities
- Monitor sales and market trends within specific industries
- Records sales, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record
- Operate computerized inventory and invoicing system
- Must be dedicated to long hours or work
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed)
- Abides by the company's Vehicle Fleet Safety and Usage Policy
DUTIES:
- Must have a persuasive personality when letting customers know of new/existing products and good product placement sets throughout their store to sell more of E-Town Marketing & Distributing products
- Must be able to travel by car. Travel and drive time between retailer visits can range from 30-75% of the day depending on route.
- Travels through the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and new business, prepares sales invoices, and interfaces with customers on location and/or by phone.
- Sales Representatives spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss the best product market
- Attend sales and team meetings as directed by management along with daily interaction with managers to discuss sales issues
- Sales Representatives commit to becoming a product expert and gain in-depth knowledge of all products and processes
- Maintain and grow customer relationships between our company and the businesses we service
- Sell current items customers carry along with upsell on products they should carry for best fits at their location
- Must have a clean and professional appearance including personal hygiene/clothing
- Ensure all code of ethics is the same amongst employees
- Be a positive mentor to the company on/off the clock
- Develop new customers on route, best fit for our market
- Show and elaborate on new products in the market
- Follow up with prospective customers and return email / voicemail
- Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction
- May require overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of Business-to Business sales and delivery experience, especially in the gas station and convenience store industry.
- Basic computer skills including data entry and following screen prompts.
- Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests, etc.)
COMPENSATION: Base Pay (first 3 months only) + Commission + Bonuses + Paid travel
(55k-100k Total compensation)

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years' selling consumer products to retailers (Required)
- Customer service: 2* years (Required)*
EDUCATION:
- High School diploma (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor's degree (PREFERRED)
