    A DAY IN THE LIFE!

    Daily, you'll lead the accounting operations ensuring that we're on track to meet key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll analyze financial data and reports, share information with senior leadership, and provide recommendations and solutions that keep us on track to hit our goals.

    WHO ARE YOU?

    You're an experienced accounting and finance leader with a proven ability to oversee daily accounting functions and the ability to lead your teams effectively. You have prior experience managing and leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with strict deadlines. You're ready to take the next step in your career by serving as a financial leader for the E.W. Wylie accounting team!

    YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures to document financial records by the required deadlines.
    • Provide analysis of data presented in financial reports to identify progression towards or deviation from established metrics.
    • Collaborate with Human Resources on benefits administration to ensure benefit-related invoices and payroll deductions accurately reflect the coverage provided.
    • Participate in budgeting, preparing reports for each department, compiling data, and integrating approved budgets into the correct systems. Additionally, you'll provide consistent tracking of budgets to monitor actual figures.
    • Review and manage the company's financial systems and billing processes to ensure that customers are billed properly.

    YOUR SKILLSET

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for collaboration with senior management.
    • Proven analytical skills with the ability to make appropriate recommendations and decisions based on data.
    • Strong business acumen with an understanding of how a corporate entity operates.
    • The ability to perform in a high-pressure environment with shifting deadlines.
    • The ability to manage your time effectively in an environment with competing priorities and a strict close timeline.
    • High fluency in Microsoft Excel.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related business field and five (5) years of directly related experience in a corporate/public accounting setting (an equivalent amount of education and experience may be substituted).
    • 2+ years of experience in managing accounting personnel.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Current CPA license.
    • Previous experience with internal controls and participation in a PCAOB Integrated Audit.
    • Experience with a strict closing process, 4 days or less preferred.

    SALARY AND SCHEDULE

    • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, decided based on experience.
    • Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday – Friday; 08:00 – 17:00.
