A DAY IN THE LIFE!
You will collaborate closely with your team to identify coverage needs between trucks and trailers. You will complete both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment. You will also review driver-identified issues to diagnose the cause of the complaint and complete the corrective repairs needed.
WHO ARE YOU?
You are an experienced technician looking to broaden your skillset on an array of heavy equipment. You have experience completing routine preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on trucks and tractor-trailers. You believe in the values of teamwork, safety, communication, and punctuality. YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on Peterbilt, Mack, and International tractors.
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment tractor-trailers including flatbeds, RGNs, Single drop, double drop, and conestoga tractor-trailers.
- Diagnose issues with fleet equipment using diagnostic software.
- Utilize the maintenance software to review services due, repair history, and create repair orders.
YOUR SKILLSET
- The ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize multiple projects in an environment with shifting deadlines.
- Extensive experience using both hand and power tools.
- Comfortability utilizing computer software for diagnostic and documentation purposes.
- The ability to work on a large team and coordinate with multiple different positions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license.
- 1+ year(s) of experience working on heavy equipment.
- You must supply your own toolset.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year(s) of experience within the transportation industry.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
- Salary: $20 - $29 per hour, decided based on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday – Friday, Weekend and afternoon shifts available (weekend shift includes shift differential); Overtime eligible.
