The Business Systems Analyst position improves and supports business activities of an assigned department through analysis of objectives, goals, and customer needs. Plans and executes a course of action based on sound business decisions and works to effectively identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Responsibilities Must possess the demonstrated ability to perform basic quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze data and information. Work with functional (business) and technical leadsteam members to produce work papers, key deliverables, and project artifacts such as requirements, user stories, design documentation and other technical deliverables during project execution. Reviews work processes, data and make recommendations for improvements with a proven ability to distill complex business issues into easily understandable terms for a variety of audiences. Supports collecting and generating status updates for various project workstreams. Collaborate with testing leads to produce and maintain relevant testing deliverables, including but not limited to UAT test plan Test scenarios, test cases and test data Test scripts Expected results Meeting scheduling, facilitation, scribing and distribution of meeting notes Organizes data, graphs and other material in a logical format and executes reporting as needed on a regular interval. Compares data to established norms to verify consistent updates and validity to baseline data. Reviews published reports, materials and recommends revisions or changes in data, format, or content. Performs data analysis and organizes data for ease of viewing via software tools. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelorrsquos degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience equal to 3 ndash 5 years, or an associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Candidate must possess extensive (3+ years) experience with IT projects executed under standard systems development life cycles and associated phases and processes. Must demonstrate understanding of standard project management processes, procedures, and documents. Minimum of 3-5 yearsrsquo work experience, preferably in a Project Management Organization andor IT function (Planning, project execution, operations, etc.) Excellent team-player attitude, with ability to consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, mutual respect, and accountability to others. Desired SkillsAttributes Experience with UMT360, Octane andor Sharepoint is highly desired.
