East View Information Services seeks a web application developer for coding and development work in digital publishing applications. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
KEY DUTIES:
- Demonstrate project ownership over an existing indigenous web application and full stack framework
- Ensure required project up time and develop app functionality around user differentiation and needs
- Improve UI and backend application architecture using Agile methodology and best industry practices
- Produce mockups and testing instances for both UI and data transfer protocols using the following (but not limited to): HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML
- Coordinate with client instruction and on-site management to introduce new application features and improve existing functionality
- Coordinate and plan process improvements with local network engineer for various types of user authentication and access needs
- Utilize appropriate methods and tools for code repositories, task management, dev/ops, and change management
- Ensure stability of web applications via troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Produce occasional documentation for restoration, planning, improvements or app structure
- Patch and update web app environment in cooperation with network personnel
- Exhibit orderly change management for web app needs and lend expertise to guide customer/client expectations
- Assist with technical and budget needs and understanding for digital publishing and content creation
- Perform other duties as assigned by on-site facility manager and/or client needs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have deep familiarity with Apache configuration and distributions and PHP frameworks and implementation, MySQL, Ajax, CSS
