DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Manager of Business Development, Architectural & Engineering Services, to lead EBI Consulting’s national Architectural & Engineering (A&E) business. The Manager of Business Development will work both independently and with other team members to create, own and drive the strategic business plan to profitably grow the company’s A&E businesses. The successful candidate will be a team player who will use their networking strengths to knock down doors and develop long-lasting relationships. MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop new business with a focus on select Markets: retail, hospitality, corporate, QSR’s, C-Stores and Fueling, Financial Clients and Developers, for A&E design services as well as opportunities for all of EBI’s services
    • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on business development initiatives to maintain, nurture and develop relationships with new and existing clients
    • Define sales roles for operations staff, enhance the company’s seller-doer business model and success, and support the full-time sales team
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, including minimum required information for pricing by service type
    • Work with technical staff to develop pricing strategies for clients both local and national

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business or related
    • At least 10 years of experience in direct Architecture/Engineering sales, with demonstrable success
    • Strong outreach activity including, but not limited to, cold calling, professional organization development, conferences, etc
    • Existing network of clients and contacts that would be source of new potential business development
    • Thorough understanding of industry terminology and delivery methods
    • Experience with a privately owned business a plus
    • Comfortable with travel, both locally and nationally, as needed
    • Fluency with SalesForce or similar CRM
