    Job Description

     90 Degree Benefits/EBSO a Third-Party Administrator is seeking an Insurance and Self-Funding Analyst. This position is in our Milwaukee WI area office. This position is responsible for working closely with the Sales Representatives and Senior Leadership as well as our broker partners in acquiring and retaining clients.  Also monitors our pricing practices to ensure 90Degree Benefits/EBSO’s pricing is accurate and consistent across the company.  Provides in-depth analysis of industry trends and specific client claims experience to provide plan design solutions to our clients and broker partners.  Assist in new product development by researching industry standards/laws and making pricing and plan design recommendations to Senior Leadership. 

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE POSITION INCLUDE:

    Existing and New Business Support/Coordination

    • Maintenance of internal and external renewal reports and provide mid-year reporting as needed
    • Prepare, distribute and update renewal and new business proposals
    • Review and compare carrier proposals to recommend appropriate carrier
    • Review and establish administrative fees for potential and existing clients
    • Analyze proposal submissions and request appropriate coverage from our carrier and vendor partners to obtain the most competitive and cost-effective proposals for our clients.
    • Follow-up with sales representatives, brokers, and carrier partners to gather the information necessary to process proposal requests
    • Respond in a timely and professional manner to all internal and external client inquiries and strives to deliver an extraordinary client experience in every situation
    • Thoroughly review RFPs to determine whether to pursue them and complete as appropriate

    Plan Maintenance and Administration

    • Assist in new group implementation through detailed and accessible documentation

    Miscellaneous

    • Update existing reports or create ad-hoc reports specific to the Client’s or Sales Representative needs
    • Document and maintain current pricing practices to ensure EBSO’s services are priced competitively.
    • Assist in new vendor implementation
    • Maintain and update existing vendor contracts and agreements to ensure all documents are completed and saved appropriately
    • Regular and reliable attendance

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTE

    The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years marketing experience in employee health/dental/life insurance with a third-party administrator or ASO experience with a fully insured carrier. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from 4 year-year College or technical school.  Our successful Insurance and Self-Funding Analyst must have the ability to research, resolve and respond to inquiries, review and interpret documents and contracts, and work efficiently in a fast­ paced environment with many demands. In addition, the ideal candidate will:

    • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excel as an individual while contributing to the team.
    • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Exert a high level of motivation and strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Current life and health license in resident State and surrounding States preferred but not required
